XCarb® is the name of ArcelorMittal's global innovation programme aiming to produce carbon neutral steel by 2050. XCarb® recycled and renewably produced steels have a carbon impact divided by 2 to 6 times depending on the product family. These products are covered by EPD/FDES currently under validation. XCarb® also includes broader initiatives towards a neutral steel production, for example by supporting our customers wishing to reduce their "scope 3" emissions, through our XCarb® green steel certificates.
